Width and height set the final canvas. Leave both at 0 for a square. With only width set, height matches width.

Prepare a product photo for a consistent catalog

Use the product photo editor when your item is visible but the surrounding scene and framing do not fit your listing. You can remove the background, place the product on a plain color, center it and choose the space around it.

This is a simple way to prepare product pictures you already have. The online product photo editor does not generate a new product, invent a studio scene or create views of an item that were not photographed.

Keep your original product photos. They provide a reference for checking that the edited item still shows the right outline, color and details.

How to use the online product photo editor

  1. Add a clear product image and choose whether to remove its background.
  2. Set the output dimensions, background color and padding around the product.
  3. Process the image, inspect the item and download the listing copy.

Product photo dimensions set the outer frame, while the editor centers the subject inside it. Padding leaves space around it so your item does not run directly into the image edges.

The first background edit may take a little longer while the background remover loads. Keep the tab open until the edit is finished. No account is required, and picture processing takes place in your browser.

Start with an accurate product picture

Choose a source where the full item is visible and in focus. Background removal cannot recover a cropped-off handle, and a larger canvas cannot recreate a label that was too small to read.

Avoid covering important details with props or another product. If several items overlap, automatic selection may treat them as one subject. Decide whether that matches what the listing is supposed to show.

Reflective, transparent and very fine parts need particular attention. A clear bottle, a thin chain or a pale product against a similar-colored background can be difficult to separate cleanly.

Use padding to make the item easy to inspect

Padding controls how much space surrounds the product. More padding makes the product occupy less of the frame; less padding brings it closer to the canvas edges.

Leave enough room for every protruding part. A bag handle, a cable or a loose strap is still part of the product even if it extends beyond the main body.

For a batch, consistent padding creates a repeatable starting point, but different shapes can still appear at different visual sizes. A tall bottle and a wide box may need separate review rather than identical settings applied without inspection.

Choose a plain background for the listing

White is useful when you want a simple background that does not compete with the item. A chosen solid color can suit a brand presentation or a catalog that uses another consistent backdrop.

The editor does not automatically match new lighting to the background. Original reflections and shadows inside the product remain part of the source image unless affected by the cutout.

Check the actual requirements of the marketplace or publishing system before exporting. A white background alone does not guarantee that dimensions, framing or other listing rules have been satisfied.

Choose product photo dimensions for the destination

Enter the canvas width and height you need. The product is fitted within that area with the selected padding rather than stretched to fill an unrelated shape.

A square canvas can help organize a uniform grid, but choose the dimensions required by your destination. Do not use a larger output as a substitute for a detailed source photograph.

For JPG output, inspect compression around labels and texture. PNG can be useful when a transparent copy is needed, while WebP may suit a compatible website. Keep a version appropriate for each place where the product will be used.

Review every product photo in a batch

The product photo editor supports up to 30 files per batch with 160 MB of combined input. Each image must be within 40 MB and 24 megapixels.

After processing, compare each product with its original. Check thin edges, gaps, included accessories, printed information and the overall silhouette. A consistent background should not come at the expense of an accurate item.

Separate unusual products from an otherwise uniform batch. Transparent packaging or several touching pieces may need different settings or a different source photograph.

Online product photo editor questions

Can this generate a lifestyle scene?

No. This product photo editor provides background removal, plain backgrounds, centering, padding, dimensions and export. It does not generate rooms, models or new product scenes.

Will it keep every product detail perfectly?

Not always. Background selection can miss fine or low-contrast regions. Inspect important details and compare them with the original before publishing.

Can I edit product photos in bulk?

Yes, within the stated file and batch limits. Shared settings save repeated setup, but each output still needs a visual check.

Can I keep an existing transparent cutout?

You can use an image that already has transparency and choose whether background removal is needed. Check the output format and canvas background before exporting.

Does this make a photo marketplace-compliant?

It provides useful editing controls, but you must check the destination's current requirements. The correct background is only one part of an acceptable listing image.

Can I remove a small distraction instead?

Use the object-removal brush when you want to keep the original scene and erase a selected item. Use this editor when standardized product placement is the main task.
